I am absolutely stunned at how wonderful your products are. You have helped the customer avoid every single pitfall of buying makeup and buying products in general online. The number one thing that irks me about buying cosmetic products is the fact that once you've spent the money, it's yours no matter if the color ends up looking right on you or not. Your samples are generously sized and priced, and allow you to know exactly what colors you need before you commit to the full-sized products. You've gone even further and put extremely accurate descriptions and photographs on your site. I am terrible at picking out the correct color of makeup for myself, and I picked two foundation colors that match my skin tone perfectly. That's how accurate your descriptions/photos are. My order was processed efficiently and I received everything I ordered within a week of ordering.

The makeup is foolproof. Another thing I am terrible at is applying makeup. I have moderately acne-scarred skin with an overall uneven tone. It's always been the same story, to look natural I would have to apply so little foundation that the blotchiness showed through, or to get full coverage I had to pancake it on. I spent less than 10 minutes applying my corrector, foundation, finisher, and blush and my skin literally looks ready for a photo shoot. I am ready for my close-up, for the first time ever :). I have to tell you a story about a meeting I had the other day. I had gotten in touch with a programmer I worked with 6 years ago and wanted to discuss future business potential. Well, I hadn't seen this guy in 6 years, the last time was before I had children. When we got together for our meeting, he paid me an incredible compliment. He told me I looked absolutely incredible. I am a true product junkie who has tried almost every mineral makeup on the market over the past several years - Bare Escentuals, Youngblood, Jane Iredale, Physician's Formula, Neutrogena, Aromaleigh, and several other Internet brands; as much as I wanted to believe the products would perform like they promised they would, I was always disappointed. Either the bismuth would cause severe itching, or the products looked chalky and cakey on my skin or made my pores look larger, or I could not get an exact color match, or the cornstarch finishing powder would cause clogged pores and acne. I am SO glad that I decided to try one more time and give LaurEss a try! These products FINALLY deliver perfectly on all the promises that mineral makeup is supposed to be. They feel and look FLAWLESS on my skin - the difference in quality from all other brands I have tried is quite palpable. I suspect this is because they were developed by a serious makeup artist. There is no irritation whatsoever. The finishing powder that contains clay instead of cornstarch makes a huge difference for my 44 year old, yet still oily, skin. And the color selection is fantastic! Also, the kabuki and powder brushes are the softest I have EVER had - and I have purchased Cat's and a lot of other brushes which promised to be the softest.

Hi Lauren... I just wanted to write you a note to tell you how much I love your products. I have ordered several samples from you quite a few times, and I'm also equally impressed with how fast i received my shipments. I love the look and feel of the foundations, and i have finally found my color match, which is raw honey. The coverage that the foundation provides is perfect for me, and I have actually been complimented on my skin by a few people (which has never happened before), and they were surprised when I told them that I was wearing mineral make-up, because they said that I didn't even look like I was wearing any foundation.... which is exactly what i'm going for. :) I have also ordered a couple of your brushes, and they are by far the best quality make-up brushes that i have ever used. The cashmere kabuki is my favorite, and it has the perfect density and softness for applying the minerals. I have also tried the silk lights, blushing lights, simply matte and luminesce minerals, which I love as well. Today I received more samples in the mail and I was able to try the gem liner - Stunning.. and that would be exactly how I would describe the color. It is so pretty and a perfect liner color.... I have been wearing mineral cosmetics for about 4 years. I have found LaurEss to be my favorite! The texture and coverage of the foundation is amazing. I've gotten and received all my stuff from you and am really liking your foundation. I found myself using it on my vacation nearly every time I used foundation, preferring it even over my current HG most days because of it's truly natural look as it gives less of a matte finish. But it covered really well any of my bad spots simply by applying a bit extra to those spots with my concealer brush, and did not get cakey or anything by having a thicker application in those areas (mainly the dark around my eyes and a few broken caps around my nose).
